HI EVERYONE

I just want to say hi and let you know I am still blogging.    

Lets see, my grandson from Houston visited this weekend.

I went to Grapevine to see Brian and Clara, I was so sorry to miss Laura.

Clara is so precious and I got to hold her for a few minutes.   She preferred 

her dad to hold her.  There is pictures of us on Mamaw's Favorite Day.  Check us out.

I went to church this morning and missed telling Michael goodbye.  He was way on toward Houston when I got home from church and called him on his cell.

My grandson Patrick is sick.  He has strep throat, but a shot from the doctor is taking care of that.  Get well soon P.  His mother had it last week, but is well now.

13 January is a special day in our family.   Duane's brother, Wendell, married Ella, her birthday is on 13 January.   She is celebrating with her family today.  They are meeting their children in Greenville for lunch.  Happy birthday Ella.

Our baby girl was born on 13 January, Ella is her Aunt.  I just talked to her and she will celebrate her birthday with lunch, after church tomorrow with her family, Tim, Patrick, Elizabeth and Jacob and Tim's mom and dad.   Happy birthday Missy.

One of our precious grandchildren was born on 13 January.  Missy is his aunt and Ella is his great aunt.    He was our fifth grandchild to be born and he looks like Pepa with the red hair and completion.  He is a new dad this year.  Happy birthday Brian.

I got this started and can't seem to delete it, so I will just say hello.

It has been a quiet, cold day here at my home.

Michael came by for a few minutes to say goodbye on his way

home to Houston.  Thomas, his cat was in the car so he didn't stay but a minute.

His friend Dom was with him and Tom.  She lives in Houston also.  A very sweet

girl I think.

SISTERS

This is three sisters.   Two of them are my wonderful daughters-in-law.    The sister on the right lives in California and they don't get to see her very often.  They did make a stopover after Christmas for a short visit.  It was good to see them together again, if only for a short time.   The top picture is with their husbands.   Three great girls with the three great guys that they love.  And I love them all.

Happy Anniversary.....

Janet and Wesley was married on 3 Jan 1973 in Austin, Texas at his parents home.   They were High School sweethearts at William B. Travis High School.   Wesley volunteered for the US Navy after graduation and they were married while he was home on leave after basic training.

They now have three sons, Kevin, Jonathan and Michael.  

In this picture they were celebrating thirty one years of marriage on 3 Jan 2004.  The three sons and other family members joined in the fun.  
Janet and Wesley will celebrate thirty five years of marriage tomorrow, 3 Jan 2008. Happy Anniversary kids.
