Happy Anniversary

Larry and Denise. It has been a short 31 years since you stood before family members and said your vows. Uncle Udell did a good job, it worked.
I wish you another 31 years together, and more grand-babies to spoil.

Just remember how much you are loved, by your family.

Enjoy your Square Dancing, it is fun and good exercise.

Stay with the healthy diet, walking and bike riding. For an old couple of thirty one years, you are doing great.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

On August 19, 1953, we were blessed with a second little boy. He got in such a hurry to arrive, that Mamaw didn't have time to get there from Paris. He was born soon after lunch, we didn't leave for the hospital until well after breakfast. He came home to his big brother, his mom and dad, and we were so proud of him. We named him Wesley Thomas after his two grandfathers. Wesley grew up and went to school in Austin. As soon as he graduated from High School he joined the U. S. Navy, following in his big brothers foot steps. Dad was a World War II veteran, so they wanted to do their duty also.
Have a Blessed Birthday tomorrow Wesley. Love you, Mom

In Memory

Thomas Jefferson Tallant was born in Arkansas on March 23, 1882. He died on August 18, 1945, 63 years ago today. He is well remembered by his family, who today, still hold the Tallant Family Reunion on the first Saturday in June every year.
Papa was killed by his runaway team while working in his fields. A train let off steam and scared the horses/mules, and they bolted.
How sad to loose a husband, father, grandfather so soon. He was loved by them all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today, Duane would have been 85 years old. How we miss him these many years since he left us. He passed away on 23 April 1999. Where have the years gone since then.

He has two grandchildren he never met and 4 great-grandchildren that will never know him except in pictures.

We think of you often and we all miss you dear Duane/Dad/Pepa.
