HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTHA

My daughter-in-law has a birthday today. Happy birthday Martha, I hope it is a great one. She is the sister of my other daughter-in-law, Janet. I love those two sisters. They are married to my two precious sons, Chester and Wesley.
Martha and Chester has two wonderful daughters, Karen and Kim, and one granddaughter, Kami. Kami will be in first grade come September. Way to go sweet Kami!!
Boy, I have a hard time keeping those three K's right.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM

Today is Tim's birthday. I thought of you often Tim during the day, but forgot to blog. They didn't pick up my mail Saturday, so your card may be late. I hope not.
Was it a great birthday? I bet it was.

TALLANT FAMILY REUNION.

This is Duane's family. Mary, Duane's wife of 50 years. Two of their children, Chester and his wife Martha, granddaughter Karen and g-granddaughter Kami. Daughter Denise and her husband Larry, grandchildren Larry Lee and wife Christi, g-grandchildren, Sophia and Aidan, Granddaughter Kari and husband Joshia. Our grandsons Kevin and Michael.
This is the youngest child, Wanda and her husband Earl.
This is Glenn's son, Wayne and his wife Nina. They drove over from Arkansas.
This is Wendell and his wife Ella. His son Curtis and his daughter, Brenda and her husband Charlie.
Hettie was the oldest child. This is her daughter, Mae, her grandson Tracy, her great-grandchildren, Ty and Presley. And another daughter, Helen Marie and her husband Sam.
This is Alma's descendants, her daughter Alma Jean, her son Mark and his wife Cathy.
April and her daughter Kimberly. April is Mark's step daughter.




There was 10 children born to Thomas Jefferson and Ollie Lula Huggins Tallant. Today, we, some of the descendants of this couple came together for a reunion. There was 37 signed in. A great time was had by all. Thank you guys for coming. It was great.

Great-granddaughter

Here is an upgraded picture of Sofia, Jean's great-granddaughter. She belongs to Heather and Heather is Rusty and Becky's daughter.

Ball Game

I went to Aidan Lee's baseball game last night. He plays on the GIANTS team. They have so much fun playing ball. Aidan's number is 5, the same as his dad's was when he played ball all through school.

Way to go boys, have fun.

My Many Talent's in May

May is a busy month for "My Many Talents". Let me see if I can remember them all.
Birthdays:
May 2, 1944 that is Barbara Herro Ratliff's birthday. A dear friend in Austin.
May 20,1907, that is the day my mother, Maudie and Uncle Claudie was born.
May 30,1959, my first son-in-law, Larry was born on that day, in Kansas.

Wedding:
23 May 2009, today, in Austin, Larry Dale and Tracie's daughter will be married.
Best wishes go out to Whitney and Jeremy for a long and happy marriage.

Anniversary:
22 May 1976, Donna Jean and Edward Kay was married.
21 May 2005, Josiah and Kari was married.
25 May 2002, Stace and Lisa was married.
25 May 2002, Larry Lee and Christi was married.
I got to attend both weddings on the 25th. Lisa and Stace was married at ten a.m. and Larry Lee and Christi the night. Both couples have two children now. A boy and a girl for each of them.

Deaths:
May 7, 1981, our nephew, Jerron was killed by a drunk driver.
May 22, 1999, another nephew, Russell James died.
May 22, 2009, Edward Kay's mother, Myrtie died.
May 22, 2009, another nephew, Denzell, died in Arkansas.
I am so sad about all of the deaths. God Bless every one.
