IT IS NOW A DAY LATE, BUT I DID REMEMBER YESTERDAY THAT IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY. LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD A FUN BIRTHDAY ON YOUR TUBE.

Summer Visitors

My youngest daughter and her family are here for a 4th. of July visit. What fun to have a house full, and not just me hanging around looking for something to do. They brought the two granddoggies also, so Crackers has company.


We will go to the Concert and Fire Works tonight, then the Grand Parade tomorrow morning. Friday night the whole family will meet at Denise and Larry's home for hot dogs and fire works again. It is so much fun to have a big family. I love them all.

At noonish tomorrow I will go to the Sirlion Stockade and meet with the Fords Academy Reunion. They are people who was displaced when Camp Maxey was built back in the early 1940's. The group is getting much smaller now, but it is fun to listen to them talk and visit. My Mother and Daddy grew up in the area and I lived there also when I was much, much younger. :)

Happy 60th. Anniversary

Ella Louise Sikes and Wendell Jefferson Tallant was married 60 years ago on 27 June 1948.

Today they will celebrate with family and friends 60 years of married life. What a blessing,
not every one gets to celebrate that many years together.

Their children, grandchildren and g-grandsons will be here to celebrate with them.

I want to wish you many more years, and know that each year is a blessing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday Ganny. Today is Ganny's birthday. Ever since Kami learned to talk, Martha has been Ganny to every one. That is what Kami calls her. Ganny and Pops. Kami is Martha's favorite grandchild, well her only one really.

I just want to wish our Martha a very Happy Birthday, with much love attached.

Well, this picture was taken in 2002 before she became Ganny. :) She is still just as sweet and pretty today.

It is my cousins birthday tomorrow. I forgot to send her a card, so Connie, this is your birthday card. I hope that you have a very Happy Birthday tomorrow with your kids. You are a great person and I love you dearly.

Wasn't she sweet way back then and so cute, she still is sixty three years later!!! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today is Tim's birthday. I have him a card, but it is still here hanging on my grandfather clock. Tim and his son is at Church Camp, so maybe the card will be there when he gets home from camp Friday. I hope you are having a very fun time at camp Tim.
