Patrick

Here is a new picture of Patrick. Today is his birthday and he will be 11 years old around 11:30 p.m. tonight, 29 Apr 2007.
We had fun at his party yesterday, Mom and Dad; sister and brother; three grandparents and Aunt Niecie. We had burgers, hotdogs and all the fixings. His cake was an icecream cake.

Happy Birthday

Patrick will be eleven this weekend. Where did the last eleven years go since Pepa and I made the flying trip to Longview to be there when he was born. We made it with time to spare, Patrick was a little stubborn about entering this old world and had to be forced to appear. What a bundle of joy he was and is! Guess I will be at his birthday celebration this Saturday. I love you Patrick.

Our Bubba

Bubba was born with Spina Bifida. He never knew a well day, but he didn't let that stop him. He learned to walk at age five, he was a very special person and we all loved him and spoiled him. He lived to be sixty one years old and just a few days. He died just days after his birthday on 23 April 1994. He went to be with mother, daddy and our sister. We really do miss him, but we know he is in less pain now. God bless you Bubba

Eight Long Years Ago

Our lives were forever changed eight years ago today. I lost my husband and my children lost their father. He was our rock that we clung to. His eleven grandchildren loved him, even the two that never knew him. He is in our ever thoughts with many precious memories to remember him by.

The picture was taken one week before he died and he is wearing Jesse James hat. We were at our retirement party, and the speaker was telling about researching the death of Jesse James and he had on the hat and a red kerchief. He really did a good program.

Happy Anniversary.....

Chester and Martha. They were married in Austin on 20 Apr 1973. They have two daughters and one precious grandchild.
It has been a long and interesting time. Many blessings and bumps along the way. We are all so very proud of your journey through life. I want to wish you many, many more years of happiness and much love to you both.

Up Date on the Three K"s

Little K loves "the big water" just don't put her in it. She loves playing in the sand and looking for shells and swiming in the pool. They sleep a lot, and are having fun. A sad note tho, big K dropped her cell phone in the bath tub while giving little K a bath. So sorry about that and middle K ran over her phone with her car, but it will still work a little bit.
Aren't BACATIONS fun! Hurry home girls, we miss you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN

Thirty + years ago today, we were so excited. We were grandparents for the very first time. And what a precious jewel she was. Chester and Martha were the proud parents, and her aunts and uncle's were just as proud as we were.

Karen is on vacation today and out of town. I just wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday anyway.
